R.S.A. ACTIVITIES

The membership of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association now totals 1049, and there are 49 part-paid subscriptions. During the past month assistance was given in 118 cases out of 127 applications. At a meeting of the executive last night details connected with administration were discussed, and arrangements were made to hold the first monthly luncheon on January 29, 1936. An address on the early history of the Returned Soldiers' Association will be given by the Dominion president of the N.Z.R.S.A. (the Hon. W. Perry, M.L.C.).

V.M.C.A. SHOPPING DAY.

As a concluding effort for the year, the Y^M.C.A. Boys' Division Ladies' Auxiliary is holding a shopping day in the V.M.C.A. lounge, when homemade goods of all kinds will be available for purchase. The auxiliary has spent a considerable amount of money this year on equipment for the Boys' Division, and is making this final effort in order to raise funds to purchase paliasses and equipment for the boys' annual camp.
