TRIBUTES BY SELASSIE
TROOPS AND THE PEOPLE I
VISIT TO THE FRONT
(Received November 22, 3 p.m.)
ADDIS ABABA, November 21.
The Emperor issued a communique after his flight to the front paying a tribute to the high morale of the troops after bombardments, to the ability of the high command to adapt themselves to conditions, and to the people's determination not to submit to the invaders, despite air raids. '
The communique discloses that he inspected four captured tanks, decorated seven officers and men for bravery, placed a wreath on the tomb of DedOazmatch Afewerk, who died of wounds a fortnight ago, and who wished to be buried in a trench in order to remain continuously on the battlefield.
