GOEBBELS ON GERMANY

SOVEREIGN FREE NATION

(Received November 22, 9 a.m.) -

BERLIN, November 20.

"An island of peace amidst a world shaken by crises, strikes, risings, and revolutions" is how the Minister of Propaganda (Dr. Goebbels) described Germany in addressing a gathering of 50,000 people at Hamburg. He added that Germany was now a sovereign free nation whose policy was no longer at the mercy of other nations.
