Sir Archibald Edmonstone, formerly Groom-in-Waiting to King Edward "VII. and Lady Edmonstone arrived at Auckland by the Rangitata' from London yesterday. They spent some time in the Dominion last year. .
Dr. W. S. Fogg, who for the past eleven months lias been resident physician and assistant superintendent at the Hawera Hospital, has been appointed medical superintendent in place of Dr. J. Cairney, whose resignation takes effect on January 1, 1936. The board dealt with eleven applications before making the appointment. :
Mr. P. J. Perry, formerly manager of the Auckland branch of the Vacuum Oil Company, Limited, and who has lately been attached to the New Zealand staff of that company in Wellington, has been transferred on promotion to the head office staff in Melbourne. He will leave Wellington on November 29.
