Adding 85 to yesterday's score, the M.C.C. team succeeded only in drawing with Victoria today, the home side dismissing the English batsmen for 252.

Victoria's slow bowlers Gregory and Smith triumphed, gaining for Victoria a lead of 80 on the first innings. Gregory's display of slow bowling was rewarded with five wickets for 69. Smith and Plant, shared the other wickets.

Victoria went in for a second knock and after Rigg (59 not out) had completed a good doifble innings and looked like being unbeaten Victoria declared to give the Englishmen an hour's batting.
