Two youths who rode their motorcycles along the Hutt Road at a speed of 70 miles an hour, and another whose^ speed was checked at 65 miles an hour along the same road, were among those fined by Mr. E. D. Mosley, 5.M.,. in the Magistrate's Court today, when he dealt with prosecutions I brought by the Wellington City Cor- | poration against motorists for breaches lof the traffic regulations. Arthur Langford and Leslie John Wilkinson, who rode at 70 miles an hour, were each fined 30s and costs, and had their licences suspended for one. month. Clement Atkinson, who rode at 65 miles an hour, was fined 30s and costs, and also had his licence suspended for 28 days. OTHER BYLAW CASES. For parking over the time limit, Maurice Frank Judd was fined 10s and costs. William Blyth Williamson was fined 10s and costs for parking more than 12 inches from the kerb. Andrew Langmuir Smith was fined a similar amount for parking less than 15 feet from the building line. For failing to pay the licence fee for a horse vehicle, Sam Hunter was fined 5s and costs. Alexander Dickson was fined £1 and costs for exceeding the jpeed- limit. For parking over the time limit, Leonard Charles Avery was fined 10s and costs. Oscar Herbert Green, Arthur Mac Donald, Kenneth Scott, Geoffrey Denzil Goodwin, and Frederick Stoupp were each fined 10s and costs for a similar offence. Eric Perry Simester w.as fined 15s and costs also. For parking in a prohibited area, Harold Budd and George Stevenson were each fined 10s and costs, while Clive Brown was fined 5s and costs. The Woburn Carrying Co., Ltd., was fined 20s and costs for overloading a motor-lorry, and 10s and costs for having a defective silencer on the vehicle. John Robert Turner was fined 20s and costs for overloading also, while David Summers was fined 30s and costs. For failing to have lights on his motor-car, Thomas Bryant was fined 5s and costs. For parking less than 15 feet from the building line, George Roy Clothier 1 was fined 10s and costs. William Thomas Findlay was fined. ; 20s and costs for failing to give way to a vehicle approaching on the right. For having no tail light on his motorcar, Alexander Kyle was fined 5s and costs. Tiora Meadows was fined 30s and 1 costs for driving at a dangerous speed, ' and 10s and costs for parking more \ than 12 inches from the kerb. For failing to obtain a heavy traffic ; licence, Joseph Peel Radcliffe was fined ! 10s and costs. I Roy Leslies Stephens, and Edward Woodefield Stuart were each finedJMs . and costs for driving in a dangerous ' manner.

Jack Thomas was fined 10s and costs for failing to obtain a driver's licence, and 5s and costs for failing to produce his licence.
