TOUR OF JAPAN

ITINERARY ANNOUNCED

The New Zealand University Rugby football team, which leaves next month o.n a tour of ; Japan, has had ,the following programme mapped out for it by the Japanese Rugby Association:—

January 23.—Arrive at Kobe. ' January 26.—v. Kansai picked team, South Koshien. . . .

January 30.—v. Kanto picked team, Meiji Shrine Stadium.

February 2.—v. Kanto No. 1 student team, Meiji Shrine Stadium.

February s—v. Combination of Kanto students Nos. 2 and 3 teams, Meiji Shrine Stadium.

February 9.—v. All-Japan students picked team, Meiji Shrine Stadium.

February 11.—v. Kigensetsu (Kansai student picked team), Hanazono.

February 16.—v. All-Japan students picked team, Hanazono.

February 17— Depart from Nagasaki. There is the possibility of matches being played by the team in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and there may be a match also in Manila.
