' The New Zealand Farmers' Co-opera-tive Distributing Company,- Ltd., report that dairy cattle met withtht keenest sale for some time at the weekly Masterton sale yesterday,showing an increase on late rates. Fat sheep were slightly easier, but store* remained firm. Pigs met a good demand. The company submitted a medium yarding of sheep, cattle, and pigs, to a good attendance of buyers, effecting a total clearance at the following range of prices:— Sheep.—Fat wethers, 235; fat woolly Southdown ewes, 245; fat ewes, 15s, 15s' 6d, to 15s lid; shorn ewes and; lambs (all counted), 14s 7d; b.f. '2-tooths, 20s 6d. - . Cattle.—Good springing cows, £5, £5 10s, to £6; springing heifers, £4, £4 ss, to £4 10s; cows in milk, £3 to-£5 10s; heifers, due autumn, ■- £3 3s; yearling Jersey heifers, £2 5s to £2 7s: store cows, £1 Is, £1 ss, £1 10s, to-£l 15s; Jersey bulls, £3 10s, £4 10s, to £5 ss. Pigs.—Sows to farrow, £2 15s; porkers, £1 16s; slips, 22s to -265; good weaners, 19s 6d, 20s, 21s, to -225; small weaners, 12s to 15s. * Dalgety and Co., Ltd., entered' .a medium yarding of sheep, realising the following values:—Fat wethers, 22s 3d; fat maiden ewes, 245; fat; ewes, 15s 8d to. 16s 9d; fat b.f. two-tooths, 20s lOd; twotooth wethers, 15s 2d to 20s 3d.
