DENES FOR HOLLYWOOD

When Oskar Denes leaves Australia alter making his final appearances in "Ball at the Savoy." which is now packing His Majesty's Theatre. Melbourne, he will go direct to Hollywood, where he is under engagement to play the principal role in four talkie comedies, arranged for him by his friend. Paul Lukas. The making of these pictures was postponed in order to allow of Mr. Denes visiting Australia on his present tour. Though solidly built. Mr. Denes is thoroughly athletic nnd numbers amongst his sporting achievements proficiency in football, tennis, and swimming. He has represented his native town, Budapest, in swimming championships in various countries. He has also played for Hungary in the international "football match against England.
