NAVY LEAGUE DANCE COMING

A special meeting of the ladies' auxiliary of the Navy League, representatives of the Junior Branch and of the Men's Executive, was held this week when arrangements were finalised for the dance to be given in honour of Commodore the Hon. E R Drummond and Lady Evelyn Dr'ummond during the visit of the flagship H.M.S. Punedin to Wellington, in a fortnight's time. The dance will be held in St. Francis Hall. Hill Street and tickets will be available (his week.' A very popular band has been engaged and everything points to a successful function.
