NO INCREASE IN FEES
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. November 5. The board of governors of Lincoln College today refused to adopt a recommendation of the Director-General !of Agriculture that the fees payable Iby boarder students should be increasi cd. Dr. Reakes suggested an increase ! I from the present scale. £52 yearly, to £65 yearly. AH the members of the board who spoke on the proposal were against ! raising the fees, declaring that it would • not be in the interests of the college jor o£ agriculture if students were excluded by high fees. A motion that the fees should rej main unaltered was carried unanimously.
