FOXTON, This Day. Speaking at Foxton last night Mr. J. K. Horn blow. Independent candidate for Manawatu, referred to the mortality among Maoris. In the Manawatu the population was about 2000 and the normal death rate about 25 per thousand. Recently it had risen to an alarming extent. The. matter required immediate attention.
