The Democrat candidate for the Pahiatua seat; Mr. D. S. McGhie, addressed a meeting of several hundred last evening. He traversed the policy of his party in detail and 'received a sympathetic hearing'throughout. He said he would vote the ' Government out but. would not vote to put Labour
The' candidate was accorded a vote of appreciation. .■ ■
