ATTEMPT AT "HAT TRICK"

Cueesun, winner of the last two Perth Cups, is to attempt the hat trick in that race. The Australian' Sun gelding left Melbourne for the West last week, accompanied by his owner, Mr. .W. Oliver. The race this year, to be decided over two miles on January 1, is worth. £1750. It is probable that Cueesun will again visit Melbourne early in the New Year "and undergo a preparation for important jumping races in the winter. It was originally intended to start Cueesun in the Melbourne Cup, but his recent form hns been, much below expectations.
