HOLIDAY DANCE
MIRAMAR TENNIS CLUB
Notwithstanding the boisterous weather conditions, over 50 members and friends were present last night at an informal dance held in the pavilion Darlington Road, Miramar. Everyone was in a happy holiday mood, and the pleasant social atmosphere that pervaded the gathering was most gratifying to the committee, which had worked hard to make the evening a success. Under the capable direction of Mr. A. M. Pinkerton .as M.C., Ja varied programme of new and old-time dancing was much enjoyed. The Monte Carlo dance competition was won by Miss Bromley and Mr. H. L. Patrick, Walton, Duff, Gilmour,' Davis, Bromley, Martin, Head, Rendall, Walker, Bolland, E. Lambert; and Messrs^ Chick, E. G. Davis, Griffiths, Leuchars, Morris, Christie, Elborne,.
