RESTORATION ISSUE

PREMIER URGES REVIVAL

LONDON, October 29.

The Athens correspondent of "The Times" says that the Government has approved decrees withdrawing martial law and prescribing penalties for at-1 tacks on the monarchy in the Press or by the public.

The Premier, General Kondylis, addressing a meeting of monarchists, maintained that the existence of a republic was detrimental to national unity, and exhorted his hearers to -vote for restoration of the monarchy at Sunday's plebiscite, as it would be the foundation of a national revival.
