SEAMEN DISMAYED
COMPANY NOT BLUFFING
(Received October 21, 11 sum.> SYDNEY, This Day. The "Sydney Morning Herald" says that the Seamen'% Union .was dismayed when it was learned that the Niagara had sailed. The seamen had scouted the suggestion that the company would take a strong hand and dispatch the vessel with a non-union crew, contending that the owners were attempting to intimidate them into manning the steamer and that they would hold volunteers in reserve.
