A headband of ; .orange. blossoms held in posi•tipri the .fine^embroidered tulle veil ibelonging,Jtpjher mother), and a tiny posy 6f~ orSrige blossom adorned the ■neck of the g^own, fastened by a beautjful- diamarit«*clip brooch. She carried;,a very "pretty bouquet of white cyclamen, hyacinths, foeesias, and pale pink' carnations.: The bridesmaid, Miss | Ida Thomson;: of Lower. Hutt, wore' a gown of rich coral pink dull-finished angelskin lace, with cowl neckline and cape sleeves.' A large blue velvet bow finished the back of the frock. She wore a. big picture hat of pink Baku straw', to match, her gown, and her bouquet of pink;roses, sweet •peas, and forget-me-nots .':.. also: matched;.. the tohings of her.'goWnJ. ■

-, The reception was. held at the residence, of the, bride's parents, Main Road, Upper Hutt. Mrs. .Phil Davis re^ ceived the guests, wearing a, beautiful-ly-cut gown of navy satin-backed moss crepe. Her hat of navy Baku straw was trimmed with ospreys, arid her stole-was of Russian squirrel. She carried'amodern posy of red roses, sweet peas, and anemones. Mrs. W. H; Ching (mother of the bridegroom) wore a smart ensemble of nigger brown crepe Volga with hat of pedaline straw to tone. Her. bouquet'was of freesias, polyanthus, and boronia in golden tones. , . ■..'" ,
Mrs. F. N. Ching's travelling suit was of malacca brown crepe Mattinar relieved with beige, and she carried a musquash: fur coat. Her hat was of brown stitched taffeta, and her accessories were of suede.- The bride and bridegroom left for a motor tour of the North Island. •
