CROSS-COUNTRY RACES
A high wind and difficult courses made the annual junior, intermediate, and senior crossrcountry races held at Scots College on Saturday afternoon severe tests of the stamina and determination of the runners. Very satisfactory fields started in each event. Results were as follows:— JUNIOR. Handicap.—March (7min), 21min 41 sec, 1; McCormick (6min 45sec), 23min 7sec, 2; Aldred (6min 45sec), 23min 8 sec, 3. Championships and Parents' Association Cup.—Lamberg minor, 18min 57 sec, 1; Walls, 19min 27sec, 2; Feist, 19 mm 37sec, 3. INTERMEDIATE. Handicap.—Brown' minor (3min 15 sec), 16min.llsec, 1; Culliford (2min 30sec), 17min 21sec, 2; Morris major (2min), 17min 34sec, 3. Championship.—Sygtove, 19min 15 sec, 1; McLaren minor, 19min 24sec, 2; Brown, 19min 26sec, 3. SENIOR. Handicap.—Fellowes (2min), 27min 29sec, 1; Flipp (lmin), 27min 38sec, 2; Bremner (scr), 26min 40sec, 3 Championship ' and . Telford Cup.— Bremner major, 26min 40sec, 1; Fellowes, 27min 29sec, 2; Flipp, 27min 38 sec, 3.
