AFTERNOON TEA PARTY

There was an excellent "response from Hie members of the Ngaio branch jof the British and Foreign Bible Society when Mrs. Lynueberg (president) invited all to afternoon tea upon the occasion of the annual effort being completed. The president very heartily thanked all the collectors for their strenuous work, and paid a high tribute to the secretary for her splendid j help. Miss Miller i secretary) congratulated all upon the fine result which exceeded that of last year, and warmly thanked all for their hearty co-operation and support, and the president for her generous hospitality.

A chat over the teacups gave a good opportunity for recounting various experiences which added to the pleasantness of the gathering.
