INQUEST ON YOUTH
(By Telegraph«—Press Association ," i HAWERA, August 22. i The tragic -story of a' youth of 18, who took. his • life ■rather: than appear in court to answer a charge of being found on licensed premises after hours; was revealed at Kaponga this morning at an inquest concerning the death of Kenneth; Victor. Harding. He. was found in a whare on Sunday night, with severe head,wounds, and a shotgun between his knees.' A summons to. appear, in court to answer a charge was served on him on Saturday.
The Coroner's verdict was that death was due to suicide while mentally depressed owing to a pending Court case.
