DOUBLE TO TROUVAILLE.

Trouvaille, winner of the maiden event, was confidently backed for the concluding race, the Sprin.grove Farewell, and despite a half-stone penalty fie again won, this time more easily than he did earlier in the day. Pukepapa and RingOTOto were hopelessly left, Dampier, Trouvaille, a.nd Kevival being the first' to jump out. They raced to the straight in that order witn Popette in fourth place at the home turn. Below the distance Trouvaille challenged- and ran past Dampier and he went on -to win nicely by a length and' a half. Dampier" was in second place about three lengths, ahead of Popette and Revival was fourth. Next were Colenso and Spender. Dampier's supporters I6st money.
