LEVIN MEETING

A meeting of the Levin Women's Institute was' Held at the Oddfellows' Hall, .there being a record attendance of members. The proceedings opened with the singing of the "Ode to Friendship," and the president, '.Mrs. C.'-E. Thorpe, then extended a "welcome to members, to several visitors present, and also to two new members, . ' :

Mr. and Mrs. Holdaway gave a very interesting demonstration' 'of -rush-i work, arid exhibited some' beautifu^ specimens of their work.. An excellent afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Armstrong, Dalton, Meddings, and Miss Dynan, and the meeting closed with the sinking of the National Anthem.
