Mrs. A. W. Rutherford and Miss Rutherford, of Mendip Hills, are visiting Wellington. Mrs. Seton Norris, "Waipawa, Hawke's Bay, is the guest of Mrs. A. E. Allison, Watt Street, Highland Park. Mrs. G. Goodwin, Lower Hutt, is spending a holiday in Rotorua. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Elworthy and Miss Cecil Elworthy, "Craigmore," South Canterbury, who left early this year for a trip to Britain, are returning to New Zealand by the Tamaroa, which left London for Wellington on June 14. Miss X.'' Somerville is a Wellington visitor to Auckland. Captain and Mrs. C. Renault, Christchurch, will leave Wellington on Tuesday by the Maunganui for Rarotonga. Miss Marjorie Murie, Seatoun, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. John Allan, Riccarton, Christchurch, left on Saturday to spend a few days at Sumner. ■ ■ Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Lane, Upland Road, Kelburn, spent the weekend in Christchurch. Misses Marjorie and Mary Ellingham, "Bywell," • Ormondville, are visiting Wellington. Misses Mary and Adele Bucklin and Mr. Frederick Page will leave this week for Hokitika, where they will play at the Hokitika Musical Society's concert on Friday night. Miss E. M. Black returned) yesterday by the Auckland express from a visit to Melbourne and Sydney. Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Stewart (late of Wellington) have taken' up residence at 16 A,vonside Drive, Christchurch. Mrs. L. M. Johnson, Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. A. A. Holman, Mdow of the Hon. W. A. Holman, wartime Premier of New South Wales, arrived in Wellington today by the Maunganui.
