CROSS-COUNTRY EVENTS (By' Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, July 6. The Canterbury cross-country championships were run today. Results in the individual championship were as follows: —A. D. Park, 1; G. H. Watson and R. Rogers, dead heat, 2; M. W. Busby, 4. ■ ' Senior teams' race, senior B grade: T Shivas, 1; Gillon, 2; A. Harper, 3; G. Valentine, 4; all of Timaru. Teams' Race, senior: Christchurch, 19 points, 1; Baptist, 31 points, 2; Timaru, 49 points, 3. Senior B: Timaru, 10 points, 1; Christchurch, 29 points, 2; Baptist, 44 points, 3.* Timaru also won the iunior grade. •
