LIGHT COLOURS FOR SAFETY
From an informal check on motor collisions Mr. W. A. Lindberg, colour expert of an American motor firm, has found that the general use of lightcoloured cars would aid in reducing traffic accidents. •
In a large percentage of the cases he studied Mr. Lindberg found that either one or both vehicles involved was painted black or a very dark colour. Use of the lighter coloured cars would be particularly valuable in lowering the rate of night accidents, he said.
