VARZI WITH GERMAN CAR
The Italian driver Vai-zi, who has joined the German Auto Union team, won the Tunis Grand Prix this year at 101.2 m.p.h. The race was run over 312 miles, 40 laps of the 7.8 mile Carthage circuit. It was not an international formula race but one open to all cars over 1100 c.c. The entry list was limited to 25 and was by invitation only, so that a fine field participated.
