Signor Mussolini has instructed all prefects of provinces, governors of cities, and presidents of charitable institutions to eliminate "anachronisms" frcm their public speeches. They may not invoke the help of the Divine providence in public. Such phrases as "I have been appointed through the confidence of my superiors,". "I am conscious of my heavy responsibilities," "I. am aware of the seriousnes of the undertaking," and "I will administer my post with honesty and severity," are taboo.
