HEMP AND TOW.

The chief hemp grader (Mr. W. Petrie) reports that 1412 bales of hemp were graded at the ports of, the Dominion last month, compared with 1441 bales in the corresponding month last year, a decrease of 29 bales. The amount of tow graded was 215 bales, compared with 148 in Juue, 1934, an increase of 148 bales.
