The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following advice from its London house dated July s:—Sheepskins:—Position of the market as compared with preceding auctions, prices are higher 7£ per cent, to 10 per cent, for merino combing and 10 per cent, to 15 per cent, for crossbred combing; prices are higher 5 per cent, to 7^ per cent, for merino and crossbred clothing. Demand keen, catalogues well cleared, all sections operating freely. 56/58's full-woolled sound pelts, 9Jd per lb; 56/58's three-quarter, 83d; 56/58's half, 7£d; 48/50's full, 9d; 48/50's threequarter, 8d; 48/50's half, 7d; 44/46's full, BJd; 44/46's three-quarter, 7Jd; 44/46's half, 6fjd; 40's full, 7d; 40's three-quar*-ter, 6Jd; 40's half, 6id; short and shorn, 4d to 5-Jd.
