LULL IN BANKRUPTCIES

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

PALMERSTON N., This Day.

Since February there has not been a bankruptcy petition filed in the Palmerston North district, which extends from Levin to Halcombe. Only three petitions so far have been recorded this year. With the exception of 1919, when only two petitions were recorded in the first five months of the year, the present year's figures are the lowest since 1908.
