NEW MINISTERS

METHODISTS' WELCOME

Tho induction of the Rev. Peicy Pan* as minister of Wesley Cbuieb, Tarauaki Street, took place ou Wednesday evening. The seiwce Mas conducted by the I Rev. J. 11. Ilatlam, president of the Methodist Church of New Zealand, and was laigely attended by members and adherents. Mr. H. Temple White was at th« organ, and the Wesley Choir led the sei« vice of praise. Mr. H. F. Gardiner, and a choice basket of floweis was presented to Mis. Paris fiom the ladies of the- rliurch. Supper was sened by the ladies, and a. pleasant time was spent by members ra making acquaintance with the new minister and renewing old friendships. A public welcome will be tendered t« the three new ministers in Wesley Church, Taranaki Street, next Wednesday, at 7.39 p.m.,' by representatives of the various religious organisations of Wellington.
