CAR OVERTURNS INTO CREEK

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.

Dr. D. TlcLean, of Rotherham, was admitted to hospital unconscious as a result of his car overturning and falling into a creek near Culverden when he was returning from Christchurch last night. His condition is now satisfactory. His head was submerged in the water in the creek when a nearby resident, hearing a noise.'rushed out. The Railway Department announces that the usual change-over from summer time to winter time running on the Manawatu line on Sundays will take effect on Sunday, May 5. The attention of students of dramatic art is drawn to an advertisement in this issue "in which Mr. Leo dv Chateau, who has had 30 years' experience of- all branches of stagecraft, announces Tit's School of Dramatic Art in Hannah's Buildings, 262, Lambton Quay. He is available to produce plays, as well as to undertake ' tuition in platform and other forms of address.
