HOLMES DISPERSAL SALE

Top price at the sale of the late Mr. G. G. Holmes's racehorses at Riccarton last Tuesday was 50 guineas, which was paid by Mr. A. Austin, of Albury, for a three-year-old Day Comet—Granuale gelding, the dam being a half-sister to Rapier. The hurdler Huntley sold for 9 guineas.
