OBITUARY

MRS. ISABEL KISSEL

The death occurred yesterday morning at her home in Hatton Street, Karori, of Mrs. Isabel Hindmarsh Kissel, wife of Mr. F. T. M. Kissel, the Chief Electrical Engineer of the Public Works Department. Mrs. Kissel, who was born in Reefton, came from a well-known West Coast family. Her father was the late Mr. J. C. Guinness, of Reef ton, and her uncle Sir Arthur Guinness, a former. Speaker of the House of Representatives. Her mother's maiden name was Hindmarsh, another well-known Reefton family. Mrs.' Kissel had not been in the best of health for the past two years, but her condition had so far improved in recent months that her death, following a severe illness of a week's duration, came as a great shock to a large circle of friends. She leaves a family of two sons and three daughters. , ,
