The Canterbury women's golf championship is being played today. Ir. the first of the. play-off rounds Miss Fleming beat Miss Marshall, 3 and 2; Miss Beadel beat Miss Loughnan, < and 3; Miss Rutherford beat. Mis« White-Parsons, 1 up; and Miss Steven' son beat Miss Fleetwood, 6 and 4.
