JAPANESE VISITORS

A STATE LUNCHEON

The Government has decided to ex tend to the officers and men of the Japanese training squadron—the Asama and Yakumo—the usual courtesies extended to naval visitors. The ships will be at Wellington from May 15 to May 18, and the Acting Prime I Minister (the Hon. E. A. Ransom) stated today that special facilities in the way of travel would be accorded to the visitors. In addition, the RearAdmiral in command of the-squadron and his officers would be the guests of the Government at a State luncheon.
