VALUATION OF PROPERTY
(To'the Editor.) , Sir,—The statements by Mr, Semplc and others regarding the new valuation of property in the city and suburbs by the Valuation Department are quite true and they should be commended for bringing the facts before the citizens. The value of land in the city has'fallen 25 per cent, and in -he suburbs 35 per cent., and yet the valuation of the latter .has been increased.— lam' etc"' \ /■■•/■. . C.M.G.
