MIRAMAR AND ORIENTAL TIE

Oriental and Miramar played a drawn game on the Polo Ground at Miramar, each side scoring a try and a penalty goal. Both sides showed good defence, but could not make the best of advantage of playing with the win with a slippery ground surface aild a greasy ball. Handling under the circumstances was poor and the play emphasised the need for practice in tackling and training for fitness. Mr. J. A. Wilson was the referee.
