OLD BOYS AND EASTBOURNE
In their match, played at Eastbourne, Wellington College and Old Boys decided on playing four spells of about 15 minutes oach in view of the unfavourable conditions. There was a good deul of keen and lively play, and the defence of both sides was put to a solid test. Of the attacking play little was successful, though well directed. Chrisp, the Eastbourne, full-back, was amoiiß those to show up in in very favourable light. The match rej suited in a narrow win for Old- Boys by 6 points to 5. Souness and J, Reynolds
each scored a try (unconverted) for the winners, and Clark scored a try, which Fleraming converted, for Eastbourne. Second fifteens of Wellington College1 Old Boys and Eastbourne also had a keen encounter, Old Boys winning by 3 poiuta to nil.
