MOTOR-CYCLE ACCIDENTS

Two motor-cyclists were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance last evening. At 5.35 p.m. the Ambulance was called to Parkvale Road, Karori, where Raymond: Johnston, a battery mechanic, who lives in that street, had fallen from his motor-cycle and rer ceived head injuries and a fracture of the left leg. Just before 7 o'clock Andrew Gowaris, a plumber, aged 23, of 16 Salek Street, Kilibrnie, fell from a motor-cycle in Hobart Street and suffered head injuries and concussion. The hospital authorities stated today that neither was in a serious condition. .
