There was*-a good attendance of mem-1 bere at the annual meeting ot | the toria 'University College Tramping Uub,.| held recently at the college. Ihe annual report'disclosed a satisfactory year, tlie progress of the club being illustrated by the fact that the meeting, considered it advisable to appoint a chief guide. An amendment -to the constitution on these lines was carried. ■ The following officers were cleeted:-?-Preeident, Professor E. J., Boyd-Wilson; vice-presidents, Mr: F. B. Thompson, Professor Williams; hon. secretary-treasurer, Mr. A. R. Perry; chief guide, Mr. N. Coup; committee, Misses I. Eggeis and J. Scott, Messrs. C. Shaw, ■C. Stewart, D. A. Viggers, and C. Watson-Munro. A vote of thanks to tho out-going secretary, Mr. A. G. Bagnall, was carried with acclamation. Special mention was also made of the capable leadership of Mr. D. A. Viggers over the club's successful Christmas trip to the Southern Lakes. •
