AUSTRALIAN CITRUS FRUIT FACTOR IN DEPRESSION i SYDNEY, April 1. The Premier, Mr. B. S. Stevens, at a conference of Central Coast citrus growers, promised to give growers I assistance to draw up a scheme for producer-control. The president of the conference, Mr. A.S. Brown, said that the New Zealand embargo on citrus fruits and the action of past Governments in fostering the Murrumbidgee irrigation area had contributed greatly to the depressed condition of the industry on the Central Coast.
