Evan's Bay Results
A. series-of races was held by the Evans Bay Yacht and Motor-Boat Club on Saturday -afternoon in a stiff, gusty northwesterly.
The ik-eeler race, for the Bucholz Cup. resulted in j a win for Annetta, with 23 minutes handicap, with Viola (scr.) second and Galatea third (9min.) third. In the 144ooter race for the Akarana V.C Trophy, XUngi (Smin.) was placed first. Kitty {scr.) second, and Tassie (imin..) third. In the Tauranga handicap results wore: Margaret (ljmin.),l; Wee May, (liruin.), 2; Betty (lmin.), 3. In the centre-boarder race for the Canterbury Yacht Club trophy, Vampire capsized and the race was abandoned.
