Use of Injections of Oil
Sydney, March 24.
The "Sunday Sim" publishes an in terview with Dr. V G AValsh, now visiting Sydney, regarding the cure for pneumonia, erysipelas, septicaemia and rheumatic fever by injections of finely emulsified oil, of which Be is joint discoverer. Dr. Walsh brought his apparatus In order to demonstrate to Sydney doctors the efficacy of the new treatment in dealing with acute bacterial disease. The apparatus breaks down the oil into particles of less than one ten-thousandth of an Inch. Dr. Walsh said: "It is the toxins which the bacteria produce that kill. Remove the toxins and the body will deal with the bacteria an. its own way. Treated with the emulsion -toxaemia lasts a few hours and recovery is rapid and complete. We found it rarely necessary to make more than four injections and pneumonia patients Have been .able to leave hospitol in anfler 20 days fit for work.
