A LITTLE, COLLABORATION \ There are a military man, a doctor, a journalist, and a bank official in-'the British team of athletes who arrived by the Warigahella last night "to begin a tour of the Dominion at Hawera on Wednesday. R. Murdoch, the sprinter of the party, is a doctor of medicine, G. L. Rampling, quartermiler, is a lieutenant -in the Royal Artillery, J. V. Powell!■ half-mile .and one mile, is a journalist, and R. M; Craske, one mile ancl three miles, is on the staff of- the Bank of England. The Mayor (Mr, T. C. A. Hislop) was in good form when referring to the occupations of the. team at the civic reception today. He said he did hot know why : he had been given the interesting information about Murdoch, unless it was that at times he was of considerable assistance to .the other members.of the team. Craske would have- the of meeting .Mr. Leslie Lefeaux;; who until he had been appointed Governor of the Reserve Bank; of/New Zealand was with the Bank" of England.
