There was a large gathering at Marsden Diocesan School this morning when.a beautiful oak reading desk was dedicated to the memory of the late Archdeacon,; Johnson: d^ : -Dr.' Sprott, Bishop^b'f theDioceser'-- *■ C, . -\■-. ■.'■ '■■'' /The desk; which was; placed oh the stage of the fine school hall, with the deep blue curtains behind it, }s of oak, handsomely carved in suitable design by Mr. L Isaacs, and bears an inscrip-; tion on the plate of brass, as follows:—. "This desk was given by the Old Girls' Association vof Marsdeh- School in afr fectionate ; memory 0j... Archdeacon Johnson, sometime chaplain, who died August 3,; i? 34." ;;\f;^;^ v r"■":*Y ' The Bishop was-accompanied by; the1 Rev. Mr. Kempthorhe (chaplain of the; school), the Hey..
