INDECENT ASSAULTS
NEED FOR STERILISATION

In finding Robert Richard Anstice, aged 49, single, guilty of indecently assaulting a six-year-old girl who was bathing on the beach at .Devonport, 1 a jury at the Supreme Court today! i added a rider that legislation should I be introduced to provide for the sterilisation of guilty parties in cases of , indecent assault upon little girls. In intimating -that the recommendation would be forwarded to the proper authorities, his Honour said, "You might be'interested to know that this man has been previously convicted." ! Sentence was deferred.1
