CRICKET NEXT SATURDAY
' It is' still the. hope of the Wellington Cricket Association, to proceed with its competition matches next Saturday. In, view of. the serious water shortage, however, no practice pitches are .being prepared, but the little rain Which fell last night may help in a small way to improve wickets for Saturday's,matches. That being so, no action was taken today in forming a deputation to wait upon the Mayor.
