Mrs. G. Shirtcliffe, Wellington, has returned from a visit to Timaru. Miss May Putnam returned to Wellington from England by the Otranto. Mrs. Cutfield and Mrs. Douglas, who have been the guests of Mrs. G. W. Wright, Clermont Terrace, motored back to Napier on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Reid. Kelburn, and their daughter, Mrs. Lionel E. Wyatt, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Reid, Dunedin. Mrs. P. A. Riddle, Hatuma. lias arrived in Wellington to attend the wedding of her neice, Miss Riddle. Miss Maisie Ottey, Christchurch. who returned from Sydney by the Wanganella. is staying with Mrs. P. Edwards, Hataitai. Mrs. J. Miller, Wairarapa, is visiting Wellington. ■ Mrs. H. Thirkle, late of Wellington, is staying with Mrs. R. C. Drummond. Lansdowne. ' Miss Jean Frazer. who has been visiting Mrs, Clifford-Tate, Feilding, has returned to Wellington. Miss G. Someryille, Roseneath, is leaving by the. Wanganella this evening for a. trip to' Milford Sounds. ' Miss Jocelyn Moore, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. D. Murchison. Timaru., ~ ■ '_' Mrs. Arthur. . Jeffries, Wellington, who has been the guest of Miss-Cora Gregory, Kaikoura, has returned home. Mrs. R. Morton, Wellington, is spending a holiday in Blenheim. Mrs. A. C. Pattie, Rapaura, has returned from a visit to Nelson. : Mrs. Hugh C. Jenkins, St. John's Hill, Wanganui, who has been the guest of her mother, Mrs.. L. Martin, Karori, has returned, home. ; Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Arnold and family, of Akarba, have returned home from Wellington, where they spent the holidays, Mrs. Niven /Forrest, "Ferrefort," Monck's Spur, arrived in Wellington yesterday morning for a visit. Miss Hilary Newton, who has been, living in England for the last three years, and who returned to Wellington by the Remuera some weeks ago, left last week for Christchurch to reside with her father, Mr. A. Wells Newton, Ohoka. Miss Eleanor Page, who has been the guest of Mrs. F; A. Knight, Karehana Bay, has returned to Karori.
